ARCON
The epidemic of
AIDS is spreading in India and hence there will be a growing
number of people living with HIV who will require comprehensive
care. Anti-retroviral treatment (ART) forms a very essential
component of this care. The increasing availability of
inexpensive antiretroviral medications will enable us to deliver
ART to the needy on a wider spectrum thus enabling us to enhance
access to ART, Care & Support to People Living with HIV/
AIDS (PLHA).
AIDS Research
& Control Centre (ARCON) is an autonomous institution of the
Government of Maharashtra.
ARCON is an
implementing agency for Global Fund to Fight against AIDS,Tuberculosis
& Malaria (GFATM)RoundII Objective 3.
